We are starting to get some warm weather which will start our annual process of transition. Transition is when the winter rye grass dies out and the bermuda grass takes over. During this time, it is not uncommon to see some bare areas. This is because the rye grass cannot tolerate higher temps and the bermuda grass won’t start to thrive until the soil temperature is consistently above 70 degrees.
